The Global Economic Forum (GEF) is a high school program that simulates the creation and presentation of policy solutions to global issues.

Students compete for fictitious funding from the World Bank by creating policy proposals and presenting them to a panel of judges. The 2024 GEF program focuses on three critical topics: water infrastructure in developing countries, mental health deterioration, and financial inclusion and innovation.

Students will create original policy proposals centered around these topics. The program will take place in-person at Drexel University and requires significant research and preparation from students.

More information can be found on the program’s website. For inquiries, contact Geoffrey Quinn, the Director of Education High School Programs.
